Poems

Numb

Numbness all around
Stiff faced and cold
To a world you're alone in
To a world you grow old

Alone but surrounded
by meaningless people
Living life as
an emotional cripple

She flies by Julian Edwin
Here she flies to me,
on the midnight wind,
gliding on ebon wings.
gutting candles of lonely night.

velvet caress,
with the brush of cherry lips,
hold me, she whispers low,
fore dawn steals me away.
